Do You Still Believe In Magic?

Do you still believe in magic,
and Fairies with silver wings?

Do you still make wishes on a star
and hope for better things?

Do you look for four leaf clovers
and put lightening bugs in jars?

Do you gaze at all the planets
and dream of Jupiter and Mars?

Do you still look for the
Man In The Moon
and believe he's made of cheese?

Do you share your prized possessions,
because your friends say "please"?

Do you still build castles in the sand
and munch on candy canes?

Have you held an injured bird in your hand
or made daisies into chains?

Did you wear that flowery crown you made
proudly upon your head?

Did you eat that candy necklace you wore,
that turned your skin all red?

Do you still catch little tadpoles
and watch them change to frogs?

Do you still bring home stray animals,
lost kittens and hungry dogs?

Do you still chase every rainbow,
looking for a pot of gold?

Do you believe what people tell you
simply because they're old?

Do you still climb into bed at night
and fall instantly asleep?

Do you still ask God, if you should die,
to take your soul to keep?

It's time to look inside ourselves,
no matter what the cost,
and find the
little child in us
and the innocence we've lost.
